Red wine elaborated by Celler de Capçanes (DO Montsant) with 90% red grenache and 10% syrah grapes cultivated in limestone soil. Malolactic fermentation carried out in stainless steel tanks and finished in barrels. The wine was aged 9 months aged in new up to five years old American and French oak barrels light and medium toasted. After blending, the wine aged for 6 months more in a tank before bottling.
On the nose it brings out fragrant aromas of ripe red fruits and some pepperiness, ripe smooth cherries, raspberries and some leafiness as well. On the finish it shows a beautiful integration of the oak with toasty notes and spices from the Syrah. Tannins are ripe and gentle.
