Xot negre dels Aspres
Red wine from DO Emporda elaborated with 40% red grenache, 40% cabernet sauvignon and carignan. Aged in Allier oak barrels for 7 months and long bottle ripening.
Visually, intense red colour. Fragrant blend of spices and ripe raspberry notes, hints of cocoa, date and honey. In the mouth, with a good acidity, a clear expression of spices persists, especially cinnamon, clove and star anise. Creamy and vigorous, bringing along a background note of candied sugar, and prior to a generous persistence.
Recommended with beef or game carpaccio, spicy rice dishes, grilled red meat, spiced lamb in the oven, goat cheese.
