La Blanca ‘brisat’
La Blanca is an organic white brisat wine (orange wine), with biodynamic orientation, from DO Terra Alta made with white grenache. Brisat style wines get their color from fermenting the must with the grape skins. La Blanca undergoes maceration and fermentation with its skins and indigenous yeasts, with a subsequent ageing in large clay amphorae of 1000-litre terracotta amphorae for 5-6 months. The wine was bottled on a waning moon.
La Blanca has a deep yellow-orange color. An attractive aromatic wine with hints of raw almonds, anise, fennel, dried mountain herbs, honeysuckle, and apples. In the mouth it’s fresh and bold with a lingering creamy balsamic aftertaste.

Enjoy it by itself or with some nuts or olives. Tapas, manchego cheese or any cheese (goat or sheep), Ibérico ham, poultry, pasta and pizza, Fish or seafood dishes, rice-based dishes (Mediterranean and Asian) spiced but not too hot. In this case, please let it evolve in the glass for a few minutes before drinking.
